How to Share Media from a Project in Filio

In Filio, you can quickly share specific media files from a project without giving access to the entire project.

This allows you to :

  • Share only selected photos or videos

  • Control exactly what recipients can access

  • Set permissions and expiration

  • Send secure links via email or phone

This is ideal for client updates, progress reviews, or focused collaboration.

Step-by-Step Guide to Sharing Media

Select Media

Generate a Share Link

Set Access Options

Step 1 : Select Media in Your Project
Open Filio and go to your project.
In the Media section:

  • Select one or multiple media files
  • Use the checkboxes to choose your items

You’ll see a selection indicator (e.g., 2 out of 27 media selected).

Step 2 – Open Share Option
With your media selected:

  • Click the Share button in the top action bar

This will open the Create Share Link window.

Step 3 – Configure Share Link

A Create Share Link modal will appear.
Inside this window:

3.1 Name the Share Link

For example: Client Review – Interior Work

3.2 Add Recipients

You can invite users by:

Choose how long the link stays active:

  • From one day

  • Up to unlimited access

This helps manage access to sensitive or time-based content.

Step 4 – Send the Share Link

Click the yellow Send Link button.
Filio will:

  • Send the link to selected recipients

  • Apply the permissions you defined

You can also copy the link manually for additional sharing if needed.

Step 5 – Manage and Reuse Share Links

After sending:

Click the pen button in front of each shared links to edit:

  • It will appear in the Share list

  • You can copy the link manually

  • Edit permissions anytime

  • Track expiration dates

  • Delete the link if needed

This allows you to fully control access even after sharing.
