This helps teams track changes, review edits, and restore previous values when needed.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1 – Select a Project and Find the Media
Log in to the Filio Web App and select the project you want to review.
From the Media section, find the media you want to check. If changes have been saved for that media, you can open its Version History from the history icon on the media card.
Step 1 – Select a Project and Find the Media
Step 2 – Open Version History
Click the Version History icon on the selected media.
Filio opens the Review Save History page, where you can compare the selected media’s current version with earlier saved versions.
Step 2 – Open Version History
Step 3 – Select a Saved Version
On the left side, you will see the Version History panel.
This panel may include:
* Total number of saved versions
* Search by version or author
* Filters
* A list of saved versions
* Version number
* Date and time of each save
* User who saved the version
Select the version you want to review.
Step 3 – Select a Saved Version
Step 4 – Compare Earlier Save and Media Now
After selecting a version, Filio shows a side-by-side comparison.
You will see:
* Earlier Save on the left
* Media Now on the right
This allows you to visually compare what changed between the older saved version and the current media.
For example, you may see changes to the plan sheet marker position, direction, angle, or layout placement.
Step 4 – Compare Earlier Save and Media Now
Step 5 – Review Changed Fields
At the top, Filio shows how many fields were changed.
On the right side, the Changes panel lists the exact updates found in the selected version comparison.
The Changes panel may show details such as:
* What field changed
* The previous value
* The current value
* The amount or type of change
For example, if a plan sheet marker was moved, the panel may show changes to:
* Plan sheet X
* Plan sheet Y
* Angle
* Direction
This helps you understand exactly what was modified.
Step 5 – Review Changed Fields
Step 6 – Restore a Specific Change
If you only want to restore one changed item, use the Restore This Change option.
This allows you to restore an individual field without replacing every saved value from that version.
For example, you can restore only the plan sheet marker position while keeping other current media details unchanged.
Step 6 – Restore a Specific Change
Step 7 – Review Staged Changes
After restoring a change, Filio shows the selected changes as ready to save.
You may see a message showing that changes are ready to save, along with the list of restored fields.
Review the staged changes before saving them to make sure the restored values are correct.
Step 7 – Review Staged Changes
Step 8 – Save the Restored Changes
Once the restored values look correct, click Save Changes.
This saves the restored version values back to the current media.
You can also use the Use This Version option when you want to restore the selected saved version more broadly.
Step 8 – Save the Restored Changes
