How to Download a Report in Filio?

Filio allows you to re-access and download any previously created report directly from the Report History section. You can select different file formats and quality options, and even receive your file automatically by email or text, all from your browser.

Step 1 – Open Filio and Select Your Project

Log into your Filio web app.

From the Projects tab on the sidebar, select the project that contains the report you want to download.

You can use the project list or the map view on the right to locate and open your project.
Click Open Project to enter the selected project.

Step 2 – Go to Report History

Once inside the project, click Reports in the left sidebar.
This will open the Report History page, where all reports related to this project are displayed.
You’ll see thumbnails of each report, along with details such as creator, date created, and last update.

Step 3 – Locate and Open the Report

Use the search bar or date filters at the top to quickly find the report you need.
Then click the Edit icon on the report card to open it.
This will take you to the detailed report editor, where you can view, update, or download the report.

Step 4 – Access the Download Options

In the report view, go to the right-hand toolbar and click the Download icon.
This opens the Download Report panel, where you can customize how your report will be exported.

Step 5 – Choose Export Format, Quality, and Delivery

In this panel, you can define three things at once, File Type, Quality, and Delivery Options:

1. File Type

PDF (default) – Standard, ready-to-share format.
Microsoft Word (Beta) – Editable document version.

2. File Quality

High Quality – Larger file size, ideal for official reports and client presentations.
Standard Quality (Recommended) – Balanced file size and clarity.
Economy Quality – Fastest option, smallest file size.

3. Delivery Options (Optional)

Enable Email or Text notifications to get a message once the file is processed.
You don’t need to wait, Filio will notify you when your download is ready.

Step 6 – Download or Re-Download Reports

Once you click Download File, Filio will process your report in the background.
You’ll see a progress bar showing its status.
If you’ve already downloaded the same report before, you can click Last Downloaded PDF Report to instantly re-download it without waiting.

Step 7 – View or Save the Final File

When processing is complete, your report opens or downloads automatically to your device.
You can now review, print, or share your generated PDF or Word file.
