How to Add a Custom Map Layer in Filio Data Collector?

Use Map Layers to add a custom map file to the project map. The current interface lists KML, KMZ, and GeoJSON formats; this guide follows the demonstrated KMZ workflow.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1 — Open Map Layers

From the project map, select Map Layers.

Step 2 — Browse and Choose the File

Select Browse your file, choose the KMZ file you want to add, and wait for Filio to load it.

Step 3 — Select and Apply the Layer

Select the loaded custom layer, then select Apply.

Step 4 — Review the Layer on the Map

Move or zoom the project map to review the imported layer and its mapped content.

Result

The selected KMZ layer is added and displayed on the project map in Filio Data Collector.
