Steps to Delete a Project
Follow these steps to select and permanently delete a project from your list.
Step 1: Log In and Select the Project
– Log in to your Filio web account and go to the Projects page (shows your list with map view).
– Check the box next to the project you want to delete (this activates multi-select mode).

– With the project selected, the trash bin icon (delete) at the top of the page will light up.
– Click the trash icon to open the confirmation popup.

– In the popup that says “Are you sure you want to delete this one project?”, read the warning carefully. Once deleted, the project becomes inaccessible, and any media, unsaved data, or changes may be lost. This action is irreversible.
– Type “Delete” in the confirmation field to proceed.
– Click the “Delete” button to finalize; the project will be removed immediately.

Delete wisely with these tips and essential cautions.
- Back up key media or reports before deleting to avoid data loss.
- Use multi-select for batch deletes if removing several at once.
- Check permissions. If the trash icon is grayed out, contact an admin.
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible, with no recovery possible.
- All project data (photos, videos, changes) will be lost forever.
- Only Super Admins can delete; others will need elevated access.
