How do I review and measure a 3D model in Filio?

Open a completed Filio 3D model, inspect the scene, and review distance and rectangular-area measurements.

Open a completed 3D model to inspect the captured scene, measure a distance, or review a rectangular area. Check the selected points and boundaries alongside the displayed result.

When to use this

Use this guide after a model result is available. For selecting photos and starting a processing job, see how to create a 3D model in Filio.

Step-by-step

1. Open the completed model

Select the intended project and choose 3D Models. Find the available result and choose Open Model. Confirm that it is the model you intend to review.

2. Navigate and inspect the scene

Enlarge the viewer, change the viewpoint and zoom to inspect the relevant surfaces. The toolbar includes Navigate and Fit view. Check uncertain or incomplete areas against the relevant project photos.

3. Measure a distance

Open Measure and choose Distance. Place the two measurement points on the model. Review where each point landed and read the resulting distance card, including its displayed unit.

4. Measure a rectangular area

Open Measure and choose Rectangle / square area. Place and adjust the rectangle over the region you want to inspect. Select Calculate area, review the area card and finish with Done.

5. Review the result in project context

Return to the same project to review the relevant source photos when you need capture context. The model and the photos support complementary review of the documented space.

Important notes

  • A displayed measurement depends on where you place the points or boundary. Inspect that placement before interpreting the value.
  • The demonstration does not establish survey accuracy or engineering acceptance.
  • The scene may have incomplete coverage. Review the source photos when an area is unclear.
  • The footage opens the completed Parking result, which is separate from the newly submitted Parking v3 job.
  • Read the area and projected-area labels and units shown for your result; the sample numbers apply only to the recorded example.
