How to Add and Manage Comments in Filio Reports

The Comment feature in Filio allows team members to collaborate directly within a report. You can attach comments to specific pages, media, or plan sheets, mention teammates using their email, and send them instant notifications, all within the Filio web app.

Step 1 – Log In and Access Report History

Go to filio.io and log into your Filio web account.


From the sidebar, click Reports to open Report History.


Find the report where you’d like to add a comment.

 

Step 2 – Open the Report for Editing or Commenting

Below each report card, you’ll find two main icons:


✏️ Edit – Opens the report in editing mode to modify content.


💬 Comment – Opens the report directly in comment view to add feedback or notes.


Click the 💬 Comment icon to open the report for commenting, or use ✏️ Edit if you want to make layout changes as well.

 

Step 3 – Locate the Comment Tab

On the right-hand side of the editor, you’ll see the Comments panel or yellow comment markers on the page.


Hover over a page or media item and click to add a new comment.

 

Step 4 – Add Your Comment

A comment box will appear with an @ mention field.


Type “@” and select a team member from the list or enter their email address.


Write your comment, feedback, or question in the text field.

 

Step 5 – Save and Notify Team Members

Click the Send or Save button to post your comment.

Once saved, your teammate will automatically receive an email notification with a link to the report and your comment.

 

Step 6 – Add Comments Directly Inside the Report Editor (Alternative Way)

You can also comment after creating or editing a report, right inside the Report Editor view.

When your report is open, you’ll see a toolbar on the right with these options:

📄 Pages | 🖼️ Media | 💬 Comments | 🤖 AI Caption
Click 💬 Comments from this toolbar to start adding feedback or internal notes.

You can attach comments to specific pages or plan sheets, tag others with “@”, and keep all discussion organized within the report itself.

Step 7 – Review and Reply to Comments

All comments appear in the right-side panel for continuous collaboration.


Team members can reply, resolve, or continue the thread before final approval

Tips and Warnings

Edit user info smoothly with these tips and key notes.

  • Use @mentions to keep discussions focused and notify specific users.

  • Attach comments directly to plan sheets or images for visual clarity.

  • Review and resolve comments before report approval to maintain clean documentation.
 
  • Only users with access permissions can add or reply to comments.

  • Deleting a comment removes it permanently from the report thread.
