Adding and Managing Users
Follow these steps to add users to your company account and manage their details efficiently in the Filio Web App.
Step 1: Access the Users Section
Log in to your Filio Web App account and select Users from the sidebar.

Choose one of two methods to add users:
– Bulk Add: Click + Add Users to upload multiple users. Download the Excel template, enter details (one user per row), and upload the file.
– Single Add: Click + Add User and enter:
– First Name (required)
– Last Name (required)
– Phone Number (required)
– Email (optional)

For users with personal emails:
– Option 1: Click Request Company ID from Admin and enter the admin’s email.
– Option 2: Click Back to Enter Company ID and paste the ID directly.Once validated, users receive a 6-digit code via phone and email to complete setup.

Step 4: Automatic User Assignment in Projects
Your user is automatically added to new projects. If using a Default Project, its users and groups are added automatically.

Step 5: Search and Add Users or Groups
Search for users by name to add them individually. Search for groups (if created) to assign them directly.

Step 6: Filter Users
Filter users by:
– Office (see “How to create an office”)
– Role
– Subscription Status
– User Type (Internal/External)
– Last Activity

Step 7: Edit User Details
Click the Edit icon under the Tools column. Update:
– Company and Office assignment
– Role (e.g., Standard User, Office Super Admin, Company Super Admin)
– Project Creation Rights

Click Next to continue project setup or skip if user management is complete.

Tips and Warnings
- Validate Company ID for the external users
For users:
If you as a company super admin
- Click Request Company ID from Admin and enter the admin’s email.
- Click Back to Enter Company ID and paste the ID directly and click add

4. Assign roles carefully to match project responsibilities.
- Ensure phone numbers are valid, as they’re required for setup.
- Verify Company ID for users with personal emails to avoid delays.
Manage Your Users in the Filio Web App Today
Step-by-Step Guide to Adding Users
Step 1: Open the Users Page
Log into your Filio web account and click Users on the left sidebar.
Here you will see two options:
+ Add User (single user)
+ Add Users (bulk upload)

Click + Add User and fill in the required fields:
First Name
Last Name
Phone Number (required)
Email (optional)
If the user is new to Filio:
Simply enter their information and click Add, Filio creates the account immediately.
Step 2: Add a Single User
If the user already has a Filio account:
Filio will display a prompt asking for their Company ID.
You may:
Enter the Company ID if you already have it
Or click Request Company ID
→ Filio emails the user’s Company Admin
→ They approve the request and provide the ID
You enter it to complete the addition

Click + Add Users Download Template
Fill in the following fields for each user
First Name
Last Name
Emall
Phone
Company ID (If the user already uses Filio)
Upload the completed file, all users will be created instantly.

Tips and Warnings
- Always confirm Company IDs for existing Filio users before adding them.
- Bulk upload saves time for large teams or new project onboarding.
- Entering the wrong Company ID will attach the user to another Filio company.
- Email is optional, but phone number is required for account activation.
