Step-by-Step Guide to Take Your First Photo
Follow these steps to capture and add your first photo to a project in the Filio app.
Step 1: Open the Filio App and Choose a Project
Tap the Filio icon on your home screen to launch the app.From the Projects tab, select an existing project or tap the “+ New Project” button to create one.

Step 1: Open the Filio App and Choose a Project
Step 2: Go to the Camera Tab and Start Capturing
Tap the Camera icon in the bottom navigation bar. Your map view will appear with available projects and a camera button on the lower right.Tap the yellow camera button to open the camera. Take one or more photos; each time you capture, a counter will appear in the corner showing how many shots you’ve taken.

Step 2: Go to the Camera Tab and Start Capturing
Step 3: Add Media Details and View in Gallery
After capturing, you’ll be taken to the Add Media screen. Here, you can:
– Review the photos you took
– Add comments or voice notes
– Tag images or draw on them.
When done, just tap the yellow checkmark; your photos will be added to the project automatically. Go to the Gallery tab to see all your uploaded visuals under the project. You can filter by tags, view media on a map, or manage your collection.

Tips and Warnings
- Ensure camera permissions are enabled for smooth Filio photo capture.
- Use voice notes to add context to your photos.
- Practice with the Sample Project to get familiar.
- Without permissions, camera features may not work.
- Save your work to avoid losing captures.
