Guide to Modify Metadata
Follow these steps to update metadata for your photos in the Filio app.
Step 1: Open the Filio App and Access Gallery
Open the Filio app, and from the bottom menu, tap on Gallery to view your projects.

Step 1: Open the Filio App and Access Gallery
Step 2: Select Project and Desired Media
Tap on the project, then select your desired media from the list.

Step 3: Open Media Details with Edit Icon
Tap the edit icon (pen) in the top-right corner to open the media details for editing.

Step 4: Edit and Apply Metadata Changes
Now you can:
- Edit the description manually or
- Tap the microphone icon to record a voice note that gets automatically transcribed into text
- Edit GPS coordinates (latitude & longitude)
- Add or change tags
- Attach files or sheets to link relevant documentsWhen finished, don’t forget to tap “Apply” to save your changes.

Step 4: Edit and Apply Metadata Changes
Tips and Warnings
- Use voice notes for quick descriptions.
- Add GPS for accurate location tracking.
- Tag photos to improve searchability.
- Ensure storage space for attached files.
- Sync after applying changes to avoid data loss.
