Steps to Free Up a Subscription
Follow these steps to remove a data collector and reclaim their seat.
Step 1: Select the Project and Access the Users Section
– Log into your Filio web account and navigate to your project list.
– Click on the specific project where the data collector is assigned to open its dashboard.
– In the project dashboard, click the “Access” tab in the left sidebar to view and manage users, groups, and shares.
– This opens the user list, where you can see all data collectors with their details like name, email, and phone number.

– In the user list, find the data collector you want to remove and click the trash bin icon (trash) in the “Tools” column next to their row.
– A confirmation popup will appear asking “Are you sure you want to delete this item?”; review it carefully, then click the red “Delete” button to confirm.
– Click “Cancel” if you change your mind. This action will free up their subscription seat immediately, making it available for a new email.

- Check the “Subscription Status” in the user list before removing to confirm it’s active.
- After freeing a seat, add a new user right away to keep your team covered.
- Use the search bar in Users to quickly find the right data collector.
- Removing a data collector revokes their access to all projects, notify them first to avoid surprises.
- This action is permanent; double-check before clicking trash to prevent mistakes.
- Free seats can only be reassigned to new emails, not reactivated for the old one.
