Steps to Create a New Project
Step 1: Start Project Creation and Configure Settings
Open the Filio Web App, navigate to the User Page, and click the “New Project” button. Configure the initial settings:
– Select Account: Choose the account for the project (defaults to your own, or select another if you have permission).
– Set Status: The project status defaults to “Active” but can be adjusted if needed.
– Default Project (Optional): Choose a Default Project to copy its settings, users, and groups (Filio now has the ability to set up multiple default projects).
Note: Check “Use default project settings and skip the next step” to bypass user/group assignments if a Default Project is selected.
– Office (optional): Assign an office to organize your project by location.
Step 3: Add Users or Groups
Assign team members to your project (skipped if you checked “Use default project settings” in Step 1).
– Your user is added automatically.
– Individual Users: Search and select additional users by name or email.
– Groups: Search and select groups created in the User Page for faster team assignments.
– Import Option: Click the “Import” button to quickly add users or groups from a Default Project or predefined list.
Note: If a Default Project was selected, its users and groups are added automatically.

– Upload Plan Sheets (images or PDFs) for maps or floor plans.
