Step-by-Step Guide to Voice Captioning
Follow these steps to add voice captions to your media in the Filio app.
Step 1 – Capture Media and Open Voice Captioning
Launch the Filio app on your device.
Tap the PHOTO or VIDEO button at the bottom of the screen to capture your content.
Once captured, tap the yellow arrow in the bottom-right corner to move to the next step.
On the Add Media screen, locate and tap the microphone icon to begin voice captioning.

Step 2 – Record Your Caption and Review Transcription
Tap the microphone icon to start recording your voice.
Tap “Tap to stop recording” when finished.
Your voice will automatically be transcribed into text in the comment field.
Review the transcription for accuracy and make any edits as needed.

Step 3 – Add Tags or Annotations and Save
(Optional) Add tags for easy search and filtering.
(Optional) Use markup tools to annotate the photo or video for added clarity.
Tap the yellow checkmark to save your caption and sync it to your project.

Step 4 – View and Edit Your Voice Caption in Gallery
Go to the Gallery tab to see all media with captions.
Tap any image or video to view the project info, timestamp, GPS location, and caption.
If needed, edit the caption directly from the media details screen.

Tips and Warnings
Speak slowly and clearly for better transcription accuracy.
Combine voice captions with tags for quick searches.
Use voice captions during on-site work for hands-free efficiency.
