What Is the Filio Sample Project and Its Purpose?
The Filio Sample Project is a default, pre-made project included in the app to help new users quickly understand how Filio organizes projects and data.
How the Filio Sample Project Works
This sample project contains example data that you can explore, modify, or delete. It’s designed to help you:
Learn the app’s structure
See how projects and media are organized
Test features without affecting your real projects
Once you’re familiar with Filio, you can remove the sample project and start creating your own.

How to Create a Project with Data Collector App?
Follow these steps to create a project and adjust photo locations manually.
Step 1: Confirm Access and Open Project Tab
Before creating a project, make sure the Project Manager grants access to the Data Collector through the Filio Web Console. To learn how to assign access roles, [click here]. Step 2: Create and Name the Project
- Tap + New Project at the bottom right of the Projects page to start a new project. - Select your web account, enter the Project Name, and tap Save to create your new project. - Next Steps: Once the project is created and media is uploaded, you can: Open the map view, tap and drag the red location marker on the photo’s map preview, place it at the correct or updated location, and all location changes will reflect in the project’s map layout and reports. Tips and Warnings
- Use this feature when GPS was disabled or inaccurate during photo capture to ensure accurate documentation.
- Make sure you’re connected to the internet for real-time map updates when adjusting locations.
- Only users with proper permissions can adjust location markers or create projects.
- nsure access is granted via the Web Console before proceeding to avoid errors.
- Internet connection is required for initial project creation and map updates.
