It shows new conduit, stacked materials and a freshly closed ceiling. There is plenty to look at, but the weekly review still needs to answer a narrower question: what changed in the areas the team is reviewing, and what do the records actually establish?<\/p><p>A useful weekly review compares documented observations from identifiable places and dates. It separates visible changes from assumptions, identifies missing coverage and gives the team a clear follow-up when the evidence is incomplete.<\/p><p>This article explains human review of documented visual evidence, not automated progress tracking, completion percentages or schedule monitoring. It does not replace a general construction report covering labor, costs and resources. The outcome is a focused update explaining what is visible, what remains uncertain and what needs follow-up.<\/p><h2>Set the Review Period and a Comparable Baseline<\/h2><h3>Define the Question, Dates and Areas<\/h3><p>Start with the question the update needs to answer. &#8220;What changed on the project?&#8221; is usually too broad. &#8220;What changed along the Level 2 east corridor since last Friday?&#8221; gives the reviewer a workable boundary.<\/p><p>Write down:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Baseline:<\/strong> the earlier capture date or documented condition.<\/li><li><strong>Current period:<\/strong> the dates covered by the new records.<\/li><li><strong>Area:<\/strong> the building, level, room or other agreed location.<\/li><li><strong>Subject:<\/strong> the installation or condition being reviewed.<\/li><li><strong>Cutoff:<\/strong> when the available records were checked for the update.<\/li><\/ul><p>Keep capture dates separate from upload dates. A photograph uploaded on Friday may show Tuesday&#8217;s conditions. If the capture date cannot be established, flag that uncertainty rather than treating the upload date as the date of the work.<\/p><p>Weekly review does not mean weekly capture is sufficient for every activity. No conduit is visible in that pictured bay.<\/li><li><strong>September 11:<\/strong> another photograph shows conduit in the same bay, with the doorway visible as a location reference.<\/li><li><strong>Observation:<\/strong> conduit is visible in the September 11 record where none is visible in the September 4 view.<\/li><li><strong>Inference:<\/strong> &#8220;The electrical work is complete.&#8221; That conclusion extends beyond what the pictured bay establishes.<\/li><li><strong>Follow-up:<\/strong> confirm whole-wall coverage and any required review before making a completion statement.<\/li><\/ul><p>Neither record establishes the exact installation date. If the question concerns acceptance or a condition requiring specialist judgment, route it to the appropriate project reviewer.
